• Finally, B frames are showing their power everywhere :) Combined with a good comparison function, they give nice gains, although at the price of a significant performance drop.
• As we already seen, use only one B frame.
• If you have multi-GHz CPU(s), you can play with SSE (*cmp=3), but common mortals will prefer SATD (*cmp=2).
• The RD (*cmp=6) comparison function doesn't seems to give anything back in exchange of the enormous amount of cycles thrown at it.
• I didn't tested Princess Mononoke, since we already seen that anime + B frames doesn't work very well.
