My education and experience as a scientist inspire high standards of accuracy in my illustration work and help me understand and present visual information in many fields.

A passion for playing outdoors and sneaking up on animals becomes a career. My favorite projects have included radio-tracking reintroduced pronghorn antelope and a genetically unique population of sage grouse, and helping set up a songbird monitoring project with PRBO Conservation Science that has really taken off.
